J. Patrick Homes Is a Star Awards Finalist x 6

Each year, the Texas Association of Builders awards the state’s top homebuilders, developers, and people. This year, we’re a finalist in six categories!

More than 950 entries were submitted this year, a record according to the association. This makes our repeated appearance among the finalists even more special. Let’s take a look at which homes are vying for the top prizes.

Grand Central Park Model Home

Our Auburn II design at 504 Whitetail Run Court in Grand Central Park is up for three awards — Best Product Design, Best Kitchen, and Best Bathroom. Effortlessly impressive and ultimately comfortable, this model has numerous stand-out features, including a non-traditional split staircase, 10-foot ceilings in all the single-story rooms, a half wall that separates the media and game rooms, and an expanded outdoor living area with a kitchen, fireplace, fire pit and multiple seating areas.

But it’s the kitchen and primary bath that really shine. The kitchen is a modern classic, with a sophisticated, welcoming design. But this kitchen is more than pretty — it’s a workhorse with durable quartz countertops, a scratch- and heat-resistant Blanco Silgranit sink, spice and utensil pull-outs, soft-close drawers, and a pot filler. The primary bath is simply stunning with a wet room that immediately commands attention. Reminiscent of luxury hotels, this combination of a freestanding tub and shower is designed for utility and relaxation. This room has become so popular that it is one of our most requested upgrades!

The Woodlands Hills Model Home

A finalist for two awards is our Sabine model home at 107 Adoration Woods Court in The Woodlands Hills. Also in the category of Best Product Design, the Sabine — one of our newest floor plans — is designed for modern living with such features as:

  • A split garage — one-bay front-loading and a two-bay swing garage — that offers a secluded entry next to a downstairs bedroom with an en suite bath, opening the possibility for multi-generational living.
  • The primary bedroom has an extended sitting area, a welcome space for morning meditation or winding down at day’s end.
  • Upstairs entertaining is made easy with a wet bar and wine storage in the game room.
  • A butler’s pantry and extended walk-in pantry adds to the already generous kitchen storage.

The Sabine is also a finalist in the Best Bathroom category, boasting another wet room. This luxe space features a Kohler freestanding tub and oversized marble-look tile with antimicrobial protection.

ARTAVIA Model Home

Our last entry to be named a finalist is our model home at 15412 Pinnacle Vistas Lane in ARTAVIA. Nominated for Best Kitchen, this home shows our range of home design and is quite different from our other nominated kitchen.

In keeping with the community’s “live colorfully” vision, we made bold color selections, opting for matte white appliances, brushed bronze hardware and a navy vent hood. Architecturally, we made thoughtful choices to maximize the space, which is a smaller footprint than some other designs. These include:

  • Microwave drawer, which allows for double ovens
  • Butler’s pantry extends cabinet and counter space
  • 10-foot ceilings, white cabinets and light French Oak flooring to enhance the feeling of spaciousness

However, like our other kitchen finalist, this model also has is strong on functionality with pull-out drawers, a Blanco Silgranit sink that is heat- and scratch-resistant, soft-close drawers and more.

These beautiful model homes are open daily — stop by soon to see what has wowed the TAB Star Award judges and let us know which you think might take home the award!
