Moving back to Texas after a three-year residency training in New Mexico that saw the birth of two children, Fahad and Zuba Kazmi knew they needed a larger home. But merely “larger” wasn’t enough — because they were going to share it with his parents, the home had to have two primary bedrooms or at least one large secondary bedroom.
They searched home builders in Houston unsuccessfully in the Magnolia/Montgomery County area for two years before a Realtor introduced them to J. Patrick Homes.
“We were finding that most homes were designed for single-family living,” Fahad said. “You had one large primary suite downstairs and then smaller bedrooms for children. But J. Patrick Homes not only had plans with two primary bedrooms, they also had larger secondary bedrooms. The fact that all secondary bedrooms had an option for an ensuite bath was a major bonus. We were really attracted.”
Another bonus were the many available structural options that gives customers the “power to personalize” their homes — something J. Patrick Homes is known for.
“Because we would be upstairs with our small children, we needed a kitchenette there that would help us better take care of their needs,” Fahad said. “That was one of the personalizations that J. Patrick did upon our request.”
In addition to the second primary suite and added kitchenette, both Fahad and Zuba like their home’s large extended patio and the style of the primary kitchen, which features white cabinets, gold hardware and luxurious quartz countertops.
The Kazmis signed paperwork last summer to build their new home in The Woodlands Hills. The foundation was poured in August, and J. Patrick Homes completed the home in December. The family moved in this January pleased with their new home buying experience.
“J. Patrick Homes was very accommodating and kept us updated throughout the construction process,” Fahad said. “I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to family and friends. I have even been telling extended family they need to get J. Patrick Homes to build them a home next to us.”
