Whether it’s because of bad allergies or a virus, you don’t want to be fearful of the air you breathe.
And with J. Patrick Homes, you don’t have to be.
J. Patrick Homes safeguards the health of their homebuyers with an Aprilaire whole-home dehumidifier that is standard in each home and the optional Air Scrubber by Aerus.
The whole-home dehumidifier removes harmful humidity from a home. And with that goes dust mites that trigger allergies and asthma. Too much humidity also can adversely impact wood floors, paint and odors within a home.
The dehumidifier is installed as part of a home’s heating-and-cooling system, allowing it to stabilize the humidity within each room. A humidistat tests the indoor air quality hourly to see if the dehumidifier needs to turn on to keep relative humidity at the targeted 55 percent.
A professional-grade Aprilaire Air Cleaner media filter is installed into indoor HVAC units so there is less dust, pollen, mold spores and bacteria in the air. All bedrooms also have their own return air chase, which makes each bedroom more comfortable and creates a better-balanced system.
The optional Air Scrubber by Aerus substantially reduces odors and microbial population on surfaces, easing breathing for people with respiratory issues and offering a measure of protection from illness-causing bacteria and viruses. An Air Scrubber by Aerus has been installed in every J. Patrick model home, creating a safer environment for visitors and also allowing prospective home buyers to learn more about its benefits.
How does it work? Glad you asked!
