the j. patrick homes journey

STEP 1

getting started

It all starts with a lot – a lot of preparation, a lot of vision and, of course, an actual lot. To begin, take a look at the site of your future home in its earliest stages.

STEP 2

your foundation

At the heart of all J. Patrick homes is a solid foundation. We’re getting on the ground level of building a new home, and things are looking solid. The makeup has been inspected, concrete has been poured and the form boards have been removed. This stage also covers passing all requisite inspections, so we’re officially cleared to move into framing.

STEP 3

frame

Because of our focus on superior craftsmanship and detail, many of our happy homeowners consider themselves home enthusiasts. If you count yourself among them, this step of The J. Patrick Homes Journey is sure to be a treat. We’re taking a look at the “good bones” of our new home as it truly begins to find its form.

STEP 4

roof & windows

When we think of curb appeal, many forget about the one major detail that goes over our heads (literally): the roof! As your home moves into this stage, the roof decking and shingles have been installed, and all exterior doors and windows have been installed. As you can see, it’s really starting to look like a house at this point.

STEP 5

hvac & electrical

The shingles are complete on your new home, and this stage of The J. Patrick Homes Journey gets “rough.” A mechanical rough-in is when HVAC and Electrical are laid out. Final electrical connections come later. From here, we have begun exterior materials – stucco on this featured design.

STEP 6

storage & details

The sheetrock is completed and textured. All interior doors, baseboards, crown molding and custom trim work have been installed. The pantry and secondary closets have shelving. Home storage is essential in every floor plan!

STEP 7

cabinetry

We’re nearing the final steps of your new home, and as we finish the interior painting. It’s time to get organized. At this stage, cabinets are delivered and installed, paving the way for a clutter-free home. Premium quality cabinetry can truly tie a home’s form and function together, and they come standard in every J. Patrick home.

STEP 8

finishing touches

It’s almost time to set out the welcome mat at your brand-new home! The countertops are in, the tile is set, landscaping is underway, mirrors are going up – even the gorgeous light fixtures and faucets are installed! As you can see, this home has been built with attention to detail every step of the way.
