J. Patrick Homes Wins 4 Trophies in Houston’s Best PRISM Awards

It was a big night October 14th as we won awards for our people and for architectural design in the Houston’s Best PRISM Awards hosted by the Greater Houston Builders Association.

The annual awards program recognizes the best-of-the-best builders, developers, marketers, remodelers and more in the greater Houston region — arguably the strongest real estate market in the country.

Steve Congram, a ten-year J. Patrick Homes employee, won Volume Builder Warranty Service Professional of the Year. As our Warranty Manager, Steve has supervised as many as 11 communities for us at one time, and he’s always approached his warranty requests expertly and efficiently. In fact, the majority of his service calls are resolved within 10 business days. We are thrilled Steve has received recognition for his hard work and impressive skillset.

Our showcase home at 3814 Tartan Lane in Braeswood Place took home two awards — Volume Builder in Town/Urban Product Design and Volume Builder Primary Bathroom. The Holman design is 4,304 square feet of luxury with a study and an open-concept living area on the first floor. Upstairs are four bedrooms and a game room. The award-winning primary bath features a “wet room” shower and bathtub combination.

Braeswood Place is the only community in which we build the Holman, although it is available through our Build On Your Own Lot program.

Another award winner was the Comal II plan in Jordan Ranch, which won the trophy for Volume Builder Family Room. The family room features a soaring two-story ceiling with double-stacked picture windows looking out to the backyard. Reaching to the ceiling, the ebony tiled fireplace is a dramatic backdrop to the room. The family room also opens to the kitchen and formal dining area.

The Comal II floor plan is one of our more popular, available not only in Jordan Ranch, but also Sienna, ARTAVIA, Grand Central Park and The Woodlands Hills.

While these were this year’s trophies we’re adding to our collection, J. Patrick Homes was named a finalist in nine other categories — including the Grand Award for Volume Builder of the Year, which we won last year. Other finalist mentions included two more for the Comal II plan in Jordan Ranch for Volume Builder Specialty Room — the teen computer room/flex space — and Volume Builder Outdoor Living Space Over $500,000. The Holman design in Braeswood Place was a finalist for the Volume Builder Kitchen Award. Our Sienna Whitley II model was also a finalist in this category as well as Volume Builder Primary Bathroom.

Our Madison design in Kingwood Royal Brook was a finalist for Volume Builder Semi-Custom Product Design under $1 Million, and the Tuscany plan in Sienna was named a finalist for Volume Builder Semi-Custom Front Elevation. Our design center was a finalist for the Volume Builder Design Center award.

We want to congratulate all of our colleagues who were named winners and finalists in this year’s Houston’s Best PRISM Awards! We are honored to be in such good company.
