It was a triple win for J. Patrick Homes at Saturday’s Houston’s Best PRISM Awards, as two of our homes won for best elevations and one of our long-term partners captured the prize for top tradesman.

The Windsor design found on Kirkshaw Drive in Aliana won Semi-Custom Home Front Elevation Over $1 Million in the Volume Builders category. The front of the home features a majestic two-story entry, curved entrances into an adjacent courtyard, and arched windows that reflect the same curvature found at the front entry. The Windsor plan’s original design has been customized to include two additional garage bays. A blend of stucco and stone further add to the home’s appeal.

Another one of our homes in Aliana — the Kensington on Carluke Court — took the trophy for Semi-Custom Home Front Elevation Under $1 Million. The Kensington also has a majestic two-story entry, with triple windows stacked above the double-door entrance. The windows adjacent to the front entrance are crowned with metal roofing and the entry’s triple window effect is mirrored horizontally above a two-bay garage with smaller windows. A third garage bay is recessed, adding visual interest to the exterior. The light gray stucco and white stone are contrasted with dark garage doors and front doors.

As excited as we are about the two wins for our stunning elevations, we are even happier about Lee Morris with Joe Swartz Electric Company winning Skilled Trade Professional of the Year, one of the awards program’s most competitive categories. We take pride in building long-lasting relationships with our valued contractors, and Joe Swartz Electric Company — and Lee Morris — have been with J. Patrick Homes since we first started building homes more than 30 years ago. It was an honor to nominate Lee for this award and to see him win the well-deserved trophy.

These three wins weren’t the only time “J. Patrick Homes” was flashed in the presentation video Saturday night. We were a finalist in five Volume Builder categories:

  • Product Design $600,000+ for the Hanover plan in Woodtrace
  • Semi-Custom Home Front Elevation Under $1 Million for the Whitley design in Aliana
  • Best Bath for the McKenzie II primary bath in Artavia
  • Design Center of the Year for the current showroom at Wisenbaker
  • Website of the Year

We want to say congratulations to all of the exceptional people, builders, developers and more who were honored during the Greater Houston Builders Association’s Houston’s Best PRISM Awards. We are thrilled to be part of such a dynamic community in this amazing Houston-area residential real estate market.
