Customer Service Impresses New J. Patrick Homeowner

J. Patrick Homes has sold thousands of homes during its 30+ history. We’re taking a moment to speak with J. Patrick buyers to see why J. Patrick Homes is the builder for them.

Wanting to move closer to her daughter and grandchildren, Tayrien Boortz didn’t have to search far and wide to find a home that perfectly fit her needs.

All she needed was to step inside a J. Patrick model home.

“The model home was a very pretty two-story, but I wanted a single-story home,” said Tayrien, who was moving from Austin. “Scott McElmoyl said there was an available one-story and once I saw the house, I fell in love. There was no need to look any further.”

Tayrien said walking through the home, she was impressed with the level of detail she saw — crown molding, extra tall ceilings, wood-look tile.

“Plus, the kitchen was large and had a multitude of cabinets, which was a necessity,” she said. “I was coming from a bigger home and had to incorporate all that I had. It was very important in my decision-making.”

Tayrien returned to Austin and put her home on the market. It went fast — she listed it on a Friday and it sold over the weekend. Fast-forward a few months and she is comfortably settled (with full kitchen cabinets) into her new J. Patrick home in Kingwood Royal Brook.

Throughout the process, Tayrien has been impressed with the level of customer service she has received from the J. Patrick Homes team.

“It’s been an excellent experience,” she said. “The service, the follow-up has all been excellent. All of their explanations have been spot-on. My previous home was also a new-build but the builder didn’t cater to me as much as J. Patrick Homes has. They really want to make sure whoever is buying their home is happy.”

Something about Tayrien’s new home that has made her unexpectedly happy is her wine cellar.

“It has cabinets, a countertop and fridge that we use all the time for water, sodas and wine,” she said. “Besides the extra storage, it saves room in the kitchen refrigerator.”
